I am a licensed clinical psychologist who practices in the state of Washington (Credential Number PY60650636, licensed by the state of Washington). This means that I have earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D.) degree and have met all requirements to obtain a current Washington State license. I received my Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Prior to that I also received my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology (M.S.) from California State University, Fullerton.
I completed my clinical internship at the Veteran Affairs (VA) Portland Health Care System. I regularly participate in trainings, workshops, conferences, and consultations to further develop my skills and growth as a clinician. As a licensed psychologist my approach to therapy is founded on a number of evidence-based methods including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Exposure Based Treatments. Also, I have received advanced training and consultation in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and trauma-informed care.
